    Thomas, Thy Name Is Pain

So between all the grandparents, friends, uncles, aunts, etc., Calvin received enough Thomas trains over his birthday & Christmas to populate an area roughly the size of Rhode Island, were Rhode Island crammed into our living room.

Calvin has the entire finished basement at his disposal. It is his unofficially designated play room, which is why I'm constantly stumped as to why there are currently no fewer than 500 hard die cast metal trains scattered throughout the living room carpet rather than downstairs WHERE THEY BELONG. And let me tell you, walking barefoot through the living room in the dark is about as much fun as that time I removed my skin on the blacktop behind our old house when I was little.

So now I'm left wondering if home owner's insurance covers concussions, contusions, gashes and gouges caused by Calvin's re-enactments of his Thomas DVDs. I'll let you know when the imprint of his newest member, Molly, finally fades from my forehead.
